Grace is the foundation of Nightfire.
In 1993 Grace ranked in the TOP TEN Belgians in Canada
as a puppy.
In that year she won
BEST PUPPY IN SHOW,
11 BEST PUPPY IN HERDING GROUPS,
and 7 HERDING GROUP PLACEMENTS.
She also won the very first Maritime Belgian Booster
that year at 10 months of age.
In 1994 we decided to campaign her as a special.
And what a year that was!
She won a BEST IN SHOW
at the tender age of 20 months,
along with 5 GROUP FIRSTS,
and over 20 GROUP PLACEMENTS!
She ended up the #3 Belgian in Canada,
and one of Canada's top winning Bitches!

Also in 1994 we bred her for her first litter.
That litter was born in January 1995.
It was almost a year and a half later
that we bred her for her second litter
which was born in July 1996.
We only asked those two litters of her
and she granted us both.
Out of those litters came double champions (American/Canadian),
Multiple Group Placers,
Multiple Puppy Group Winners,
and a Best In Sweepstakes Winner.
Now her daughter (who we kept out of her first litter)
is continuing on where Grace left off
producing champions of her own.

In 1998 we brought Grace out again
to another Maritime Booster (her only outing that year).
She went BEST OF BREED again
and then went on to take a HERDING GROUP PLACEMENT.

Needless to say, we are very proud of her.

Today she is retired to be my couch potato
(or should I say "bed" potato....she's a bed HOG....*S*).

Even though she is the ultimate show dog,
she is also my best friend.
I don't know what I would do without her......
